I am a highly motivated and creative professional with a passion for technology and visual design. My background in education gives me an edge on how to empathise and relate to how people interact with technology.

Experience.

Before, I worked for over a decade as an educator, gaining experience in adult education and secondary schools across various institutions. My main teaching areas were visual arts, mathematics, science, and English. My keen interest in technology led me to study a Graduate Certificate in Interaction Design at the University of Queensland Australia in 2019, and to further enhance my skills, in 2020 I studied a five-month Full Stack Web Development Bootcamp at Wild Code School Madrid. I decided to do the bootcamp because I believed that to be a great UX/UI designer, it was important to have the technological knowledge to work with developers and understand the web development process. After my studies, I completed a Junior Web Development Internship with Cedrion in Madrid, freelanced in UX/UI design, and now lead digital learning projects, combining my skills in UX design and education for impactful digital experiences.

I love learning new things, travelling and expressing myself creatively. In the past I was a visual artist and have skills in painting, illustration and digital design. In fact, all the digital illustrations in this portfolio were created by me using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
